The Wedding Ringer

It has been more than a month I didn’t write any movie review. Not only because I was not getting invitation to premiere screening, but also because I didn’t watch movie after returning from my Taiwan trip back in Nov 2014. Back to the point, thank you KLIPS Malaysia for the exclusive passes of The Wedding Ringer.
Synopsis:
Doug Harris (Josh Gad) is a lovable but socially awkward groom-to-be with a problem: he has no best man. With less than two weeks to go until he marries the girl of his dreams (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting), Doug is referred to Jimmy Callahan (Kevin Hart), owner and CEO of Best Man, Inc., a company that provides flattering best men for socially challenged guys in need. What ensues is a hilarious wedding charade as they try to pull off the big con, and an unexpected budding bromance between Doug and his fake best man Jimmy.

With the poster alone, you definitely can link The Wedding Ringer with “fun”, “laugh” and “comedy”. The chemistry between Kevin Hart and Josh Gad is fantastic! No doubt, this movie alive because of them.

In America, wedding ringer may not be a special occupation. However, this was the time I knew there is someone working as bestman! It isn’t an easy job, for God’s sake.

Overall, The Wedding Ringer contains nothing much except jokes. The plot is predictable; there is no big difference with comedy movie we watched. However, for sure, your stress will able to find a place to release after watching this movie because it definitely make you laugh a lot.

Rating: 3/5
