Review: Thayers Alcohol-Free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera Toner

0
I bet all ladies use toner, which is one of the basic skincare routine we need everyday. However, I guess everyone has at least once, feel that your face becomes more dry after applying the toner. Typically, the reason that cause this issue is because that particular toner contains alcohol. I personally have such experience, not only causing dry, but also stingy. Thus, I swear I am not going to use those toners anymore!
If you are still using toner that isn’t  alcohol-free, STOP using it! Let me introduce you a quality-assured toner from America which works great in refreshing your skin. Sponsored by Natta Cosme, I was given to try Thayers Alcohol-Free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera Toner.

    Review:
Rose Thayers is a very refreshing toner. It isn’t stingy since it is alcohol-free. I apply it by using cotton pad, only small amount will do. BTW, be alert when pouring out Rose Thayers toner, I recommended you to put the cotton pad on the top and press a little. If you pour like me (as shown above), the toner will come out like you are pouring water into your cup.

Since Rose Thayers helps to cleanse away residue on skin, the first day when using it, the cotton pad turned a little yellow; but nothing in the following day. Since I only apply sunscreen daily and will remove it with cleansing water before washing my face;  thus, my face has less residue. As said, it is refreshing. I felt my skin was instantly hydrated after applying Rose Thayers toner. And with only 3 days application, my reddish spots recovered.

Another thing I did with Rose Thayers toner is to use it as mask. You can either buy the mask sheet or you can use cotton pad to place all over your face. Leave it on face around 10-15 minutes; or when you feel it is mild drying. It is my first time DIY my own mask. However, since I only need to squeeze the toner until the entire mask sheet has fully covered with the toner, it is super easy to do. You shall try this at home too. (Note: Not every toner can be used as mask!)
When applying Rose Thayers toner mask, I felt a little stingy on my face. However, that is normal because when my face skin is dehydrating and the mask is playing the role to rejuvenate the skin. After a few seconds, the stingy feeling has gone. I waited around 10 minutes, my toner mask became mild dried. After removing the mask sheet, I can feel my skin is more hydrating and more resilient.

Overall, it is a satisfying experience with Thayers Alcohol-Free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera Toner. The only thing I don’t like is the scent. Well, that is my personal issue. I prefer mild scent, but Rose Thayers has a very strong scent of the rose petal. Nonetheless, for who love rose-scented product, Rose Thayer’s scent isn’t an issue.

    1. Rose petal and aloe vera? Pretty interesting combination but it looks like its worth a try. I probably should get one for my MOm since she’s a fan of roses.

    2. Sounds like a great product, and great review 🙂 x
