Any fan of Italian cuisine? Danny and I had recently come across a newly opened Italian restaurant in Sunway Pyramid – Sunny Queen.
Well, Sunny Queen is actually a well-known Italian franchise restaurant from Taiwan. It has few different themes in one restaurant, suitable for casual dining, kid birthday celebration, private event, couple dining, etc.
Of course, food and drink is still the most important part of a restaurant. Without further ado, let’s check out the food~~~
There are wide variety of pasta offered by Sunny Queen. For instance, classic aglio olio, red sauce, white sauce, black squid ink sauce and so on. I personally love their Cherry Duck Aglio Olio Spaghetti the most! Meanwhile, Squid Ink Mixed Seafood Spaghetti is special to me. To be honest, I kinda curious how squid ink will taste like. It didn’t turn out something weird but it will blacken your teeth and mouth! It is actually fun when you look at the mirror. Well, don’t worry, just drink some water and it will remove.

Italian cuisine isn’t complete without rissoto, which is also my favorite! In Sunny Queen, one of their rissoto is called Truffle Parmesan Cheese Rice. This is Danny’s most recommended dish among all. He loves its texture and the fragrance. I personally think it is palatable and since it is cheese rice, I perfer to have stronger cheesy taste.

You should also try the Sunny Queen Chicken when dining at Sunny Queen. It is the hot pick dish. It has the fragant herb taste. I personally like it flavor much. Dip some sauce so it won’t taste so dry.

For the drinks, we will recommend to have their freshly made fruit juices and smoothies. Especially the juices, because you are not drinking one glass but drinking the entire fruit! I mean if you want to drink watermelon juice, you will get a whole watermelon, filled in the freshly blended watermelon juice. The crew made upon order heartfully, just for you.
