Our “eat-all-we-can” spirit was on all the way during the progress. (You will find the answer in this post)
To avoid wastage of food, Sazori only serves food in a smaller portion and also categorizes them with different colors of containers — Blue (seafood), orange (basic steamboat ingredients) and green (vegetables).
For non-Muslims customers, slice bacon will be served during steamboat. However, since Sazori is a HALAL shabu and grill restaurant, they replace the the pork ingredients with beef bacon strips. Other than that, Sazori also serves chicken ham, slice lamb, slice beef, chicken gyoza and seasoned baby octopus.
Sazori offers four types of soup base – clear chicken soup, seafood tom yam soup, beef soup and ponzu soup.
Clear chicken soup will be the most common soup base during steamboat. Adding some ingredients, a common chicken soup base can become your “own made” soup base. Like mine, I have added seaweed and make a pot of seaweed soup.
Danny chose seafood tom yam soup. The tom yam soup is quite concentrated. However, the beef soup is less tasty.
Ponzu soup will be their special soup, which is made by Japan seasoned soy sauce. It is sourish sweet in taste. I will recommend the first timer ordering this soup. I personally love this flavor much.
Sazori also provide different condiments for soup as well as dipping sauces. There are few kinds homemade sauces; the must try sauce is their Sazori Specialty sauce. Especially when eating the grill style, adding the sauce, for sure it will make the food even delicious.
Not only food is in buffet concept, their desserts and drinks are buffet too which mean customers can eat and drink all they can. That’s why I said Danny and I ‘eat-all-we-can’ spirit were on that time.
Well, at a glance, Sazori Shabu and Grill is a great dining place for people who love buffet. And also, since Sazori serves no pork and we have also Muslim friends. Therefore, when we held a dinner, Sazori will be a best choice for us, instead of just go to mamak.

My family as a habit eats so little. It is not always worth it for us to eat at an eat-all-you-can place. How about you?
This restaurant looks really new if you ask me and the food is really different for me. I guess I ve never tasted something like this before!
Would like to try, hope they have branch here in Manila Philippines. Sazori Shabu Zone and Grill
Okay this place has GOT to get itself in Manila. As soon as I saw Grilled Iidako I was sold! Haha! This place looks absolutely fantastic! 😀
I have neevr been to a shabu before but after seeing this, I think I must! The food is looks so yummy!
Wow, I’ve never seen a restaurant quite like this. I wish I could travel more to explore these types of places 🙂
I like how everything has their individual containers, and everything really looks so clean and hygienic! i would love to try it there, especially with the mix shabu shabu and teppanyaki concept.
reminds me of lollipot shabu shabu! just they don’t have grill! this is lovely!
I like the bbq grill concept since I feel that you get to space your meal because you have to cook in between. This would be a great place for buffet.
The restaurant did look so cozy. Very relaxing and it would be nice to spend time with friends or family you need to catch up with. I’m not a lover of these food but I love how they presented the ingredients and everything else so neatly. It gives the impression that the food are well taken care of.
Price seem affordable but si the steamboat foods choices extensive? Was hoping for more ingredients pic.
Sazori offers a great selection of meals to please every taste. I really like the fact that you can refill your plates without having to get up and walk to the food containers, you definitely got me with your review.
Grilled food tends to have a bit less fat and extra stuff on it. This looks like a good eat out place. Happy Holidays!
Nice concept especially where each customer can have their own pots. 🙂
The place looks amazing and delicious! 😀 Happy Holidays!
Nice concept. Nice place to dine shabu-shabu and grill meat.. Yummy!
