Japanese Soft Serve @ P.S. Tokyo

22

I admit I can’t say no to ice-cream. Everything gets better when I have ice-cream. Yes, it is my favorite dessert. Few months ago, a blogger friend of mine has opened her own soft serve cafe, P.S. Tokyo at SS2. I guess lots of blogger friends went there to show her their support, which including me. How can I resist to try ice-cream!

Located at SS2, P.S. Tokyo focuses on providing quality Japanese desserts and drinks to diners. To give a similar experience like you are in Japan, P.S. Tokyo is themed with minimalism. All the designs and decorations were done by the owner herself. The atmosphere in the daytime is totally different from the nighttime.

Undeniably, it provides a cosy and relaxing ambience both the entire day. However, if you were here from early evening till night, you will be able to watch the lively SS2; especially during Monday’s night market. You will be able to see an impressive view from the bar. The view was beautiful too when it rains.

Besides, P.S. Tokyo is collaborating with Play Booth Co.. Customers can get a FREE Instagram pictures printed automatically once customers post a picture with hashtag “#pstokyo”. You will also able to check out the photos on the wall.

As mentioned, P.S. Tokyo is a soft serve cafe. Currently, it has three common Japanese flavors – milk, matcha and hojicha.

You can choose to add toppings on your soft serve too. Here we have matcha-flavored soft serve with cornflakes. Have I ever mentioned I only eat chocolate and vanilla ice-cream? And I don’t love matcha because of its bitterness? Yet, I can’t stop eating this matcha soft serve. Its finest texture was awesome! In addition, the cornflakes made the soft serve more chewy.

Since I have chosen P.S. Tokyo as my office of the day, I tried all three flavors in one day. The milk-flavored was soft and creamy. Meanwhile, the hojicha was the best among all! Personally love it much. And, it is my first time to try hojicha. Some may not like its roasted taste, but that is the uniqueness of hojicha.

Other than soft serve, you can also find cakes, coffee and tea here. We had Original Tofu Cheese Cake and Sesame Tofu Cheese Cake. Yes, both are tofu cheese cake; nonetheless, their taste are totally different! I have had original one at other cafe before, its syrup was strong with ginger. But, the one at P.S. Tokyo was just nice, it did not cover the tofu’s flavor. At the other hand, the sesame-flavored was covered up by the sesame itself.

In short, P.S. Tokyo is one of the new cafes in Klang Valley you give a try. Just one try, you will in love with it!

BTW, P.S. Tokyo also comes out with unique Japanese flavor in timely matter. At this moment, they have wasabi flavored soft serve! I dare you to try~ For more updates in future, do follow them on Facebook.
