In this early October, Danny and I have our short gateaway to Penang. Well, since this was our third time, we were craving for something that we never tried before. That’s how we found Guo Xiang Fu Steamboat. It is located at Jalan Seang Tek, Georgetown, which isn’t too far from our hotel.
10月上旬时，趁着假期就和亲爱的溜到槟城度假去。这是我们第三次到这儿度假，所以我们希望能到一些我们没有去过的地方。就这样，网上搜呀搜，搜到锅香府。由于和我们的酒店相差不远，加上两个人有好久没吃过火锅了，看看介绍的价钱又还可以，最后决定去吃个痛快！

I was attracted by its door/entrance at first sight. But don’t deceived by it. It is wallpaper, instead of the classic Chinese door.
到那里，第一眼就被它的门给吸引住了。但仔细看看才发现这扇复古的门其实只是墙纸而已，它和现代的门是一样的。
We ordered the seafood porridge and add on some a’ la carte dishes. When the food was served, we knew we will gain weight for sure!
我们点了一个海龙王粥火锅套餐，再加上几盘的单座配料。上菜时就看出来我们真的点了蛮多，这绝对足够两个人吃~

蟹柳卷 Oborostsuki @ RM4.50
猪肉丸 Pork Meatball @ RM4.50
牛肉片 Beef Slice @ RM9

Other than the porridge steamboat, Guo Xiang Fu also serve the traditional types of soup such as spicy, tom yam and clear soup. Customers can choose to have either one or two or all type of soups in the same pot. We were tempting to try the soups too, yet, we only have 2 persons, we couldn’t try all since we have already ordered the seafood porridge steamboat package.

The food not only look delicious, they are truly delicious! One thing that Guo Xiang Fu stands out of the crowd is they offers door-to-door steamboat delivery (in Penang). So, if you plan to have your family gathering, party etc, you can arrange this delivery earlier with Guo Xiang Fu and they will prepare all the equipment needed. The only thing you would need to prepare will be the place to set your steamboat.
他们的食物非常新鲜，而且都很美味。锅香府之所以有特色都是因为他们有提供门到门外卖火锅服务。只要提前预订，锅香府将为客户准备所以火锅用具及食材。当然这只限槟城区的朋友们。

All in all, it was a very satisfying dinner for two. We will definitely return to Guo Xiang Fu during our future visit in Penang.
总的来说，这一顿是非常丰盛又满足的晚饭。下雨天时，来顿火锅大餐来暖暖胃，这会是最幸福的事~
